In the original Japanese version, after Molly asks who Misty is, Misty introduces herself by saying "Sekai no Bishoujo Yawa Kasumi" around 40:26. This roughly translates to her calling herself "The world's most beautiful girl, Yawa Kasumi!" which is proof of her surname in the Japanese version being Yawa.
