As Green took more of a secret agent-type approach to battling the [[Elite Four]] during this arc, she and Blasty do not appear until relatively late into the arc compared to most main characters save Red. He was first shown subduing [[Bill]]'s {{p|Vulpix}} when Green used [[Ditty]] as a key to break in again (breaking the promise she made to [[Professor Oak]]) and tried to break into the Pokémon Box system to check on the then-missing Red's exploits since he disappeared.
