Buck is a strong {{pkmn|trainer}} from [[Survival Area]] which is close to [[Stark Mountain]] volcano, where he loves to train. Later, he can join the player in competition at Sinnoh's {{Si|Battle Tower}}. He appears at Stark Mountain and is part of the event required to catch {{p|Heatran}}. Buck's older brother is an [[Elite Four]] member, but who it is exactly remains unknown. However, many fans speculate that it may may in fact be {{EF|Flint}}. His grandfather runs and cooks at the [[Battleground]].
