-Before his rise to fame, Brock was rumoured to be a notorious sex offender of sordid tastes. Events were first brought to light when Ash was seen running in obvious despair away from the leader's gym in Pewter City. The young boy told a tale that horrified officers at the local police station - Brock would bind his Onyx in the basement of the gym and conduct various sexual experiments upon it. It from this stage in Brock's life that his nickname 'Brock the Rock' came to be. He was later charged with abusing his powers as a breeder.
