Blue (Masters): Difference between revisions

Blue has experienced similar events to his [[Blue (game)|core series counterpart]]. Blue was given a [[first partner Pokémon]] by {{mas|Professor Oak}}, choosing {{p|Squirtle}}.<ref> Pokémon Center Conversation "My Blastoise has been with me since he was a Squirtle."</ref> He left [[Pallet Town]] at the same time as {{mas|Red}} and {{mas|Leaf}} and formed a [[rival]]ry with each of them.<ref> Pokémon Center Conversation "You might already know this, but Red, Leaf, and I all left Pallet Town to start our journeys at the same time."</ref> While on his {{pkmn|journey}}, Blue caught a {{p|Growlithe}} and revived a {{p|Aerodactyl}} from some [[Old Amber|amber]].<ref> {{DL|Special sync pair event|Blue & Arcanine}} "I raised him from a Growlithe back in my Kanto days."</ref><ref> Pokémon Center Conversation "I mean, he was regenerated from amber! Doesn't get much cooler than that!"</ref> His Growlithe eventually evolved into {{p|Arcanine}}, and his Squirtle eventually evolved into {{p|Blastoise}}. At some point, Blue obtained a {{p|Pidgeot}}, which he uses to {{m|fly}} to different towns.<ref> Pokémon Center Conversation "He can even carry me and fly to different towns!"</ref> After collecting [[Gym]] [[Badges]], Blue defeated the [[Indigo League]] [[Elite Four]] and became the {{pkmn|Champion}} of [[Kanto]]. However, he lost this title when Red defeated him shortly after, earning him the nickname "the phantom Champion".<ref> Pokémon Center Conversation "Not to brag or anything, but I actually became the Champion of the Indigo League back in Kanto. Though...I lost to Red right after, so people started calling me the phantom Champion..."</ref>
