They are generally depicted as suspicious men sneaking around with sacks thrown over their backs. In [[Generation I]], they are only found on [[Cinnabar Island]]. Those in the burned-down {{ka|Pokémon Mansion}} only challenge the player if they are talked to directly, not when they see the player. If defeated, they will sometimes drop an item as they flee. Burglars tend to give out large amounts of [[prize money]].
