Scizor responds with a {{m|Hyper Beam}} attack, but Torkoal {{m|Iron Defense|tucks itself into its shell}}, negating the effects of the attack. As Torkoal emerges from its shell unharmed, Ash smiles and throws up a peace sign. Scizor’s onslaught doesn’t stop as it charges with {{m|Metal Claw}} attack.
