Tyler thinks it might just be a myth and says that it's a wasted trip. Gabby isn't listening though. Then Wallace arrives with Ruby in hot pursuit. Ruby and Tyler look at an {{p|Anorith}} and a {{p|Lileep}} in a glass cage. Wallace hears from Tyler that Ruby is a [[Gym Leader]]'s son. Wallace tests Ruby by having Elizabeth unlock the cage. Lileep and Anorith escape, but are calmed down by {{DL|Ruby (Adventures)|Celebi|one of Ruby's Pokémon}}{{tt|*|HUGE spoiler alert!!}}. Tyler puts them back into the cage. Wallace changes his mind and accepts Ruby as a student, leaving his other helpers at the lab.
