|desc={{p|Magmar}} is Satchel's only and most powerful Pokémon. It first appeared as a {{p|Magby}} in a battle against {{Ash}} and his {{AP|Cyndaquil}}. Cyndaquil had a very strong {{m|Flamethrower}} and the Pokémon were pretty much equal, but Magby's speed was too good for Cyndaquil and it was defeated by a {{m|DynamicPunch}}. Later Magby with a load of other Pokémon are captured by [[Team Rocket]], {{AP|Larvitar}} is able to free Ash, Larvitar get onto the truck and tells Magby and Cyndaquil is burn a hole in the glass, which they finally do and all the Pokémon escape. Magby tries to send Team Rocket blasting off but is not powerful, suddenly it [[Evolution|evolves]] into Magmar and successfully sends Team Rocket blasting off. | |||
