Ash and Goh are outside Rock Tunnel, where Goh is scanning for Geodude, however there is no outbreak. Meanwhile, Farfetch'd begins its training by smashing many boulders, carelessly. Due to its carelessness, many rocks are launched towards Goh and Sobble. Fortunately, Cinderace jumps in and kicks the rocks away. Ash warns Farfetch'd to be more careful, but that warning goes to deaf ears as Farfetch'd ignores it. While concentrating its energy, Farfetch'd breaks a large boulder which contained a Geodude. Goh spots the Geodude and catches it with ease. Goh then thanks Farfetch'd for finding Geodude, but it simply walks away and resumes training. Ash explains to Goh how his Farfetch'd wants to be a "leek master". In other words, Farfetch'd wants to be the strongest leek fighter.
