As the episode begins, Team Rocket are seen blasting way off into space and they all have Afros! They, of course, come crashing down to earth and land in front of a mansion and immediately begin fighting and arguing with each other. After blows are exchanged, a strange gray ghostly-looking Pokémon with glowing red eyes gazes at them. They're surrounded by an aura and immediately they all relax and become totally calm. Once calmed, they break into the mansion in search of food, but the door closes and locks behind them. They again resume arguing about whose fault it is, but the ghostly Pokémon has followed them and again calms them down. The next scene shows Ash and company running to find a dry spot since it's just begun raining very hard.
