Acerola's age is not known, only the possible age range of Trial Captains; therefore, however unlikely it may seem, she may be older than Caitlin's first appearance as an Elite Four -- Caitlin MIGHT HAVE BEEN 17 in BW, while Acerola COULD be 18 in SM.
