In the Sun and Moon Series, Ash traveled with his mother [[Delia Ketchum]] to the Alola region after Mr. Mime won the lottery. It was shown that Ash gave his Kalos Pokemon to [[Professor Oak]], who had given Ash and his mother a Pokemon egg to deliver to [[Samson Oak]]. When riding the Water Ride Pokemon [[Sharpedo]], Ash met [[Lana]] who was fishing on Lapras with her Popplio.
