I don't see why this article is tagged as a stub, there's not really much more one can say about Trainer ID numbers. It's a fairly basic topic, that's been covered well as far as I can see. I suggest the removal of the stub tag. [[User:GetOutOfBox|GetOutOfBox]] 17:32, 30 June 2011 (UTC)

== Same ID, different Trainer ==
A wierd thing happened to me. In my Diamond game, I had somehow ended up with a Bad egg in my Daycare. Because of that, I traded all of my valuable pokemon to my SoulSilver game, so I could start Diamond over. A little while later, I discovered a bizarre quirk: The trainer ID for my old Diamond pokemon and the pokemon that I already had in SoulSilver was the same for both. My game treated them as normal traded pokemon, so I couldn't nickname them. Does anyone know the chance of two identical ID numbers?
