Cap points to the ship's side, revealing Ambipom and Toedscruel among lots of other Pokémon, aquatic or otherwise, riding on top of a {{p|Wailord}} covered in scars. The two thieves then make their move, climbing aboard the ship to steal the food on the deck. Witnessing the shocking revelation, Friede realizes that the effort to guide lost ships was all just a big sham by Lapras.
