A Ripple in Time: Difference between revisions

The short opens with Ash Ketchum and his Pikachu engaging in battle with an unnamed trainer and his Cubone - it is noted that these two were each trainer's final Pokémon. The battle is evenly matched despite Pikachu's inability to use any Electric-type moves for any purposes other than destroying Cubone's [[Swift (move)|Swift]] attack. The battle is interrupted when Celebi flies over the battlefield, and transports Ash and Pikachu over to another world where they see partially crystalised statues of Pokémon such as Jigglypuff, Blastoise and Mewtwo, and other [[Generation I]] Pokémon. Ash chases Celebi throughout the grasslands and runs through a cave in an effort to return to his own world, eventually crossing onto a bridge. There, he is reunited with Celebi, but also comes face-to-face with Dialga. The legendary Pokémon lets out a loud roar, with the short ending at this stage with a "to be continued" screen.
