Cameron also seems to like taking risks, or just plain going for broke, even when unnecessary, like sending out Pokémon who are weak against his opponents. For example, in his battle with Ash, he sends out {{p|Ferrothorn}} against {{TP|Ash|Pignite}}, even though {{t|Fire}} and {{type|Fighting}}s have a huge advantage over {{t|Grass}} and {{type|Steel}}s.
