| Steelix is rather rash and often charges into situations without thinking about the consequences of its actions. Often if disturbed, it will attack anything rather than just the actual being responsible for disturbing it. It is usually aggressive towards other Pokémon that happen to live within its habitat. Steelix is very tenacious; it doesn't give up until it is beaten and is often adamant about its choice of action. It can sometimes be found in the wild; however, it lives miles underground, and it rarely surfaces unless provoked. It is said that when an earthquake happens, multiple Steelix are battling far below the surface. It is presumed that Steelix eats soil and boulders.
