:::: I completely disagree with this statement. Only in the anime is Mewtwo genetically created by team rocket from Mew: in the Manga it is created by combining Mew's DNA with that of a human (Blaine). This could, and likely IS, simply the games interpretation of the creation of Mewtwo and should be taken as it is stated, not twisted around to whatever makes you feel more comfortable. In the anime we already know that there is more than one Mew - unless the Mew who lives permanently at the tree of origin is the same one that fights Mewtwo, which, although possible, is highly unlikely. This should be noted under Mew's gender section the same way as the suggestion of Lugia reproducing in the Anime is listed on Lugia's page. 21:33, 19 April 2011 (EST)

Who knows? Probably there is more than one Mew (which I believe), it wouldn't be the first "legendary" that can be more than one.--[[User talk:AOS|AOS]] 03:10, 17 March 2009 (UTC)
