'''Iron Island''' (Japanese: '''こうてつじま''' ''Steel Island'') is a small islet off of the northwestern coast of [[Sinnoh]], which is accessible by boat in [[Canalave City]]. On this island, a man named [[Riley]] trains, and will give the player a {{p|Riolu}} [[Pokémon egg|egg]] if [[Lucas (game)|he]] or [[Dawn (game)|she]] helps him here by teaming up with him. Riley has a Lv.34 {{p|Lucario}} and will fully heal all of your Pokémon after each battle. At the end of Iron Island, you may collect a [[Light Stone]]. Iron Island was once a prosperous ore mine, but was shut down after the ore reserves dried up.  Since then, it was kept open as a training area and habitat for wild Pokémon.  [[Byron]] and the members of the [[Canalave Gym]] come here to train, as did [[Roark]] in his childhood.  Riley seems to be the actual legal owner of the mine itself.
