Really did not expect to meet any opposition when removing that trivia entry. I understand that dub titles like "Talkin' 'Bout an Evolution" and "Try for the Family Stone!" are obvious references to music, but "thanks for the memories" is a perfectly normal expression, that has just been monopolized in mass media by the band "Fall Out Boy" who happens to use the expression for a song title. Also, how often do you see the series reference such recent events? And finally, everyone who happens to know about the song will most likely draw that line themselves, meaning that there is no need to shove it down the throats of people who are lucky enough to be unfamiliar with the band. I do not think I am biased in my perspective, and I seriously think that an experienced user like yourself should consider removing the entry. You could also try and convince me, but if you simply ignore this message I sure will take care of removing it myself. Thank you. - Nechifor, 5 April 2010

::I never said it was a saying (like in a saying with a certain meaning that is important enough to be mentioned in the article.) It is merely a common expression that came before Fall Out Boy. Looking at the article's discussion page, you will find an entry from 2008 agreeing with me: ""Thanks for the memories" has been a saying long before Fall Out Boy turned it into a song." Why do not you just remove it? It is irrelevant. - Nechifor, 5 April 2010
