Groups of Legendary and Mythical Pokémon: Difference between revisions

Revertion. Terapagos & the Paradox Duo may not be a trio, but they are related just like the others on their section. A great example of a similar case is Eternatus and the Hero Duo. They are not part of a group, or have any real connection other than their battle during the Darkest Day. It is similar with Terapagos, as it also functions as a “third legendary” (even if not a trio) in this case bringing Koraidon and Miraidon into present time. Terapagos IS why we even get to see Koraidon/Miraidon

;Terapagos and the Paradox duo
In Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, while Professor Sada (Scarlet) or Professor Turo (Violet) was working on the Time machine, she/he was brought to the future by Terapagos and saw Koraidon or Miraidon depending on the version, for the first time. Both were renamed from Winged King and Iron Serpent (their traditional paradox names) respectively due to this encounter. Upon being sent back to their corresponding time period, Sada/Turo are able to complete the Time machine by harnessing Terapagos's Terastal energy, as it is the source of the Terastal phenomenon. By using the time machine, Sada/Turo brought Paradox Pokémon to the present time period, starting with Koraidon/Miraidon. In the Indigo Disk's climax, the player character travels back to Paldea and faces Stellar Terapagos. Before the battle, a cutscene plays where Koraidon/Miraidon exits its Poké Ball in order to protect Kieran from an attack by Terapagos.
