Are they some weird sort of pills that the Pokemon eats or what are they supposed to be anyways? I presume the X stands for "extra" but how are these items used? The Cantonese name for X Speed uses this character which translates as "tool" or "device" so I assume these aren't edible, but then why are they one use only? 器 | Are they some weird sort of pills that the Pokemon eats or what are they supposed to be anyways? :I can't confirm, but I believe they're just single-use pill bottles. The rounded part is presumably a kind of Pokémon-resistant packaging, and the stuff inside look like little medicinal tablets. They could be considered single-use if the cap breaks permanently when the bottle is opened, so each bottle has exactly one dose of stat boost.
