Glitch City Laboratories: Difference between revisions

On December 10, 2010, the site was taken down for maintenance. Users were offered a temporary forum<ref>http://profglitch.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=temporary</ref> until the site was back online. On August 8, 2011, private beta testing of the site was released<ref>http://profglitch.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=gcltempboard&action=display&thread=404&page=1</ref>; users could request access accounts on the temporary forum. The site was reopened to the public on October 24, 2011; however, some pages still redirected to the maintenance notice.

On July 2020; Photon-Phoenix/GARYM9 (one of the head administrators) announced that the site, forums and wiki would be closed; due to staff burn-out and events related to the "{{nw|2019 Nintendo, Microsoft data breach case|Gigaleak}}". In its place the community was downsized to a Discord channel called Glitch City Research Institute adopted by a different community but with some returning users and former staff.
