Regarding Bewear... I have reviewed Episode One quite a bit and have severe doubts that the Bewear Ash and Pikachu met was reacting to them '''joyfully''' as the article has stated. | |||
As yet I can't be certain that Jessie and James encountered the same bear (in Episode Three) that Ash did. The bear they met has a very strong nurturing instinct and appears to have adopted them. The bear that Ash and Pikachu met waved and then chopped down trees with its - ahem - 'bear/bare' arms. There was a dark shadow over its eyes as it did this, so I take from this that his Bewear was being aggressive. | |||
