In February 2013, it was announced by Future Publishing that Pokémon Official Magazine would be returning to the United Kingdom. The new magazine will have a publishing schedule of 13 issues per year.

To promote sales of the magazine at launch, users could subscribe from 26th February to 19th April and receive the first 3 issues for £5.
