So the team decided to help Pansear learn {{m|SolarBeam}}, and they all start to train with it. First they work to absorb the sun's energy, then Pansage teaches it how to harness the energy and fire it in a beam of light. Pansear tried, but failed to successfully use SolarBeam, so they generally worked on training its strength, putting it through various exercises.
