Dr. Gordon (Japanese: ドクター・ゴードン Dr. Gordon) is a character of the day who appeared in Caterpie's Big Dilemma.
A scientist, Dr. Gordon operates a laboratory near Saffron City with his student, Zander. His specialty is making inventions based on Pokémon moves, and his lab is filled with a lot of them. Among them, there is a machine that enables him to use Alakazam's Future Sight in order to predict the future, and a Machoke costume that gives the user ten times the strength.
One of his accidental and untested inventions, the Mystery Candy Complete, was consumed by Zander's Caterpie after they fell onto the floor during Team Rocket's lab heist. The little Pokémon immediately grew in size and broke out of the lab.
