Japanese names
There seems to be a bit of an edit war over the romanizations of Noland's and Anabel's Japanese names. To try to resolve this, I'd like to point out that Datsura and Lila (rather than Datura and Lilas) are the official spellings of these names, as used on Battle Frontier tshirts sold on the Japanese Pokémon Center website back in 2005.(I made a blurry closeup based on available archived images; actual closeups weren't archived, unfortunately) Additionally, while lilas is the French word for lilac, lila is the equivalent Spanish word.
As for Dahlia and Cattleya, I'm leaving their names alone because they have no known official spellings. Quagbert 02:46, 13 February 2009 (UTC)

You know what stinks?

All of the symbols are jpgs. That's right, the crappy, artifacted file format. Why aren't they pngs? There any way someone could re-rip them? TTEchidna 17:55, 12 September 2008 (UTC)

Hey, some images might work better as JPEGs!
Not the symbols, though. If anyone knows how to re-rip the symbols as PNGs, go ahead. --Shiningpikablu252 18:48, 12 September 2008 (UTC)
In all actuality, I really hoped we could even get the official Sugimori art for them, too, like we have for the badges. Didn't a booklet come out a little while ago that detailed all of the Leaders, Brains, and so on with each of their badges? I swear I saw it... TTEchidna 19:48, 12 September 2008 (UTC)
>> Sewiously. Anyone know how to, or if possible, any GameShark code to activate the Frontier Pass and Frontier Symbols on the Trainer Card? TTEchidna 07:35, 26 October 2008 (UTC)
As in ripping it off the rom?--Coolピカチュウ! 07:48, 26 October 2008 (UTC)
Got the gold symbols turned into PNGs. - Kogoro | Talk to me | 09:23, 26 October 2008 (UTC)
Good job. Are the silver ones any different except for a palette swap? TTEchidna 21:14, 1 November 2008 (UTC)

Sinnoh Brains

Is it worth noting that the colors used for the Frontier Brains are the same as the flavor colors? Palmer = Cool/Spicy, Nejiki = Beauty/Dry, Dahliah = Tough/Sour, Cochran & Cattleya = Smart/Bitter, and Kate = Cute/Sweet. --ケンジガール 21:23, 13 September 2008 (UTC)

I don't see why not. People insist on adding much, much worse trivia (no offense against your trivium meant, it's just things can get really ridiculous).--Loveはドコ? (talk contribs) 21:47, 13 September 2008 (UTC)
I know. I'm not even sure if this is particulary notable. Just thought I'd bring up the topic. --ケンジガール 21:51, 13 September 2008 (UTC)
Well, my point is that I consider this an alright trivium. Re-using colors or names is pretty common in the games (contest levels named after ball levels, etc.) so it's more notable than other things.--Loveはドコ? (talk contribs) 21:55, 13 September 2008 (UTC)
