Egg Pokémon (Masters): Difference between revisions

Each Egg Pokémon also has a stat called affinity, which starts at 1/3. Affinity can be raised to 2/3, 3/3, and maximum affinity using 1★, 2★, and 3★ Berry Tarts, respectively, with 20 Berry Tarts being required to reach each next level. Using one Berry Tart to raise affinity raises some of the Egg Pokémon's stats by one point each (or two points each if that stat is HP), depending on the role of that Pokémon.

Certain Egg Pokémon may also [[Evolution|evolve]]. Requirements for evolving Egg Pokémon are as follows:

These are Pokémon that cannot evolve further in Pokémon Masters EX, and in that game, almost all Egg Pokémon in Pokémon Masters EX—except for Tech {{p|Tyrogue}}, both [[regional form]]s of Meowth, and certain {{p|Eevee}}—can only evolve if they do so into a Pokémon introduced in [[Generation I]]. This means that {{p|Onix}}, {{p|Porygon}}, and even the [[first partner Pokémon]] of {{DL|First partner Pokémon|Galar}} and {{DL|First partner Pokémon|Paldea}} will be in this category.

These are Pokémon that evolve only once in Pokémon Masters EX, such as Growlithe. Due to how almost all Egg Pokémon in Pokémon Masters EX evolve{{tt|*|They can only evolve if they will become a Pokémon introduced in Generation I.
Only Tech Tyrogue, both regional forms of Meowth, and certain Eevee are exempt from this rule.}}, Pokémon such as {{p|Zubat}}, {{p|Elekid}}, and {{p|Happiny}} also belong in this category.
