'''Harrison's Houndoom''' (Japanese: '''ハヅキのヘルガー''' ''Hazuki's Hellgar'') was {{Jo|Harrison}}'s first revealed Pokémon, and appears to be his main Pokémon, often seen [[Walking Pokémon|walking beside its Trainer]].

Houndoom first appeared in in ''[[EP265|Pop Goes The Sneasel]]'', walking beside its trainer. It listenined to the story of {{p|Ho-Oh}}'s Sacred Flame and joined Harrison and the others when they went to retrieve it from a territorial {{p|Sneasel}}. It jumped in to battle Sneasel's {{p|Machop}} crony, repelling it with {{m|Flamethrower}}. On the second attempt, it fought alongside {{AP|Phanpy}} against the Machop and {{p|Machoke}}, using {{m|Headbutt}} to take down the latter, then catching it on its horns and throwing it over the hill, out of range of the battle with Sneasel. It appeared willing to battle Sneasel, but Harrison chose to use {{TP|Harrison|Blaziken}} instead.

During Harrison's battle with {{Ash}} in ''[[EP270|Can't Beat the Heat!]]'', it came out as his fifth Pokémon to fight {{AP|Snorlax}}, who had already taken down {{P|Hypno}} and {{p|Steelix}} with little effort. It proved to be very powerful, using {{m|Counter}} to reflect {{m|Hyper Beam}} back onto it at double the strength, knocking out Snorlax in one single hit.  

It then fought [[Ash's Bayleef]], where its significant type advantage showed as it roasting {{m|Razor Leaf}} with Flamethrower. However, Bayleef cunningly used {{m|Vine Whip}} to muzzle Houndoom and prevent it from using Flamethrower or Bite. Bayleef then threw Houndoom onto the ground and {{m|Body Slam}}med it, taking it out of the match.

It was last seen in battle with [[Jon Dickson]]'s {{p|Rhyhorn}}, where it lost after being rammed by the huge Spikes Pokémon. As Harrison's final Pokémon, Houndoom's loss caused Harrison's elimination from the tournament.
