Hi Wowy, I think you are the one that put the event information up.  I am trying to find out some info about this event for Porybox (www.porybox.com) so we can improve the legality checking system we are building.  Specifically I am trying to find someone who has them so I can get the PID/SID.  Let me know if you can help in any way, it would be greatly appreciated. Sabresite (talk) 01:47, 4 July 2017 (UTC)
:Hi Sabresite. I don't own any Korean games and got all the information either from official websites, from screenshots of official websites, or from photos of people who got these event Pokémon. Would photos of other people's event Pokémon be useful in determining the PID/SID? If so, I might have time towards the end of the week to try to find them again. --<span style="color:green">Wowy</span>(토크) 03:41, 4 July 2017 (UTC)
::Ok, here is a page that seems reliable which provides photos of the event Pokémon. If you want their SIDs, Project Pokémon seems to have them already for Entei, Suicune and Raikou. == SM Episode articles ==
Hi Wowy, I have seen that you have heavily modified my synopsis of Pokemon Sun and Moon episode descriptions. It is really great that you're modifying and cleaning up articles but are you able to give me an example of an appropriately size episode article please? This is so I can use it as a guide in order to cut down on sentence size and write better in general next time I write a synopsis. ThanksNikuriku (talk) 03:01, 31 August 2017 (UTC)
:Hi! There's no hard or fast rule for plots, but in my opinion, they shouldn't be too long. You don't need every minor detail of the story (e.g. every comment that RotomDex makes in the episode isn't necessary). The length of XY079 and XY081 I think show good examples of those that are not too short and not too long. This is just my opinion and some episodes (e.g. Gym Battles), tend to require more detail in the battles and tend to be longer.
:Also, keep sentences simple and not overly long-winded. Also, I think trying to diversify the sentence structure is handy as well to make a plot more interesting to read. In addition, breaking up long paragraphs into smaller paragraphs makes the text more readable. Hope this helps! --<span style="color:green">Wowy</span>(토크) 05:23, 2 September 2017 (UTC)
:: Thanks! The episodes you provided would be of great assistance to help in what to write for episode synopsis. Admittedly I do tend to write a lot anyway, so the episodes you provided really helps. Yeah, for battles they may need a bit of detail like the Totem battles. Overall, thanks for the feedback.Nikuriku (talk) 09:35, 2 September 2017 (UTC)
Spectra
So on 16 December, 2015, you made an edit to the page for Spectra concerning what level wild pokemon locations had which pokemon, and I was wondering what your source for that change was?  I'd swear the information from before you made that post was correct... Robertodole (talk) 23:26, 1 February 2018 (UTC)
:That was from my own research so there is a possibility that I might have got something wrong. But I played through every side story as I was doing the research and went to extensive lengths (often playing for many in-game years), so it wouldn't have been easy to have missed so many Level 2 Pokémon (unless they're really rare!). Mind you, I also look at Serebii to see if it correlates, but did find that there seemed to be many errors. If you can find a text dump of the game data, or have your own research that states otherwise, please feel free to inform me. --<span style="color:#AAAAFF">Wowy</span>(토크) 09:31, 3 February 2018 (UTC)
Plot Summaries
Have to say thank you for going over my over long plot summaries that I posted--BigDocFan (talk) 14:24, 19 February 2018 (UTC)
:No worries! Just a bit of advice on plot summaries, try to make them shorter by not adding in what every person is doing/thinking. For example, it might not be necessary to write that RotomDex was surprised because of some event, or that Sophocles mentions something about a device he made. Also, I think cutting sentences into shorter ones helps make the plot more readable, as well trying to diversify the sentence structure to make a plot more interesting to read. --<span style="color:#AAAAFF">Wowy</span>(토크) 10:00, 20 February 2018 (UTC)

The Wonder Tile and Training Switch tiles
I was wondering if it's possible if you're able to find the animation files for the models and record their animation? It would be great to have the flat tiles with their animation too! Platinum Lucario (talk) 17:50, 19 July 2018 (UTC)
:Hi Platinum Lucario! It'd probably be best to discuss this with Lady Ariel because even though I've been uploading the models, it's Lady Ariel whose been doing all the legwork getting them. ::Hello. It is extremely unlikely to get the animations for the Wonder Tiles and Training Switches, because the green glow effect is not part of the models themselves which means its something else (more than likely its not a model, but a special effect).
::However, I was wondering Platinum Lucario since you have been so involved in previous stuff with the Mystery Dungeon games, would you be interested in helping us out? There is a lot of things coming for them, from clean item sprites, move screenshots, dungeon screenshots, models of the Pokémon, map models, and much more. However, I can't do all this by myself which is why Wowy is uploading the images for me (but there is a lot of other things that need to be done, like cropping images such as the Pokémon portraits). <span style="color:magenta">Lady</span> <span style="color:orange">Ariel</span> 16:38, 20 July 2018 (UTC)
:::Hello Lady Ariel, I'd absolutely love to help with uploading everything relating to Pokémon Mystery Dungeon on the 3DS systems, since I'm doing a lot of research on the games, I'm more than happy to help with uploading all the 3D models of the items and every single 3D objects that actually are in the game, this may take a while since there is a lot of objects in the game, but I'm more than happy to help in every way I can.
:::There's also plenty of unused content in both 3DS PMD games, mostly unused moves and the Exit tile which I can also upload in the future when I get around to it. Which also reminds me, I'm also working on uploading the Japanese names and screenshots of all the Unused DLC dungeon content on TCRF as well, and I can also upload them here too.
:::There's also some awesome animations of the weather effects, status effects and moves in the 3DS PMD games that would look extraordinary if uploaded onto Bulbagarden Archives. But since limitations are in place to ensure that the file sizes are 2MB or below, uploading the moves as just standalone single-frame PNGs would work just as well, but it also does defeat the purpose of how awesome the animations look when displayed. I can understand that Bulbagarden Archives has those limitations in place to ensure that their hard drives don't run out of space, but it would be nice to increase the limit to help with the animated PNGs in 3DS games, 'cause I know they do take up quite a bit of space even when optimised due to the 3DS's screen resolution size. If the limit is increased in the future, I'd be certainly more than happy to help replace any standalone PNGs with animated PNGs.
:::There's also other projects I'm currently working on as well, like finding and documenting the location of where weather data is determined in B/W/B2/W2. I'm more than happy to work on every project whenever I get the chance.Platinum Lucario (talk) 16:21, 24 July 2018 (UTC)

Revision undo on page "Character encoding in Generation I"
I apologize for not editing the page correctly but may I ask how I should have edited it correctly. Can you elaborate on the better way it should have been edited? Junebug12851 (talk) 10:30, 2 April 2019 (UTC)
:It was primarily the imgur image, as the image should have been uploaded on the Archives first. I had to revert the whole edit since the wording you used revolved around the image, so if I was just to remove the image it wouldn't have made sense anymore. Since the image was uploaded, I'm happy for you to re-add your edit, though it would be better if your text didn't focus so heavily on the image, particularly towards the beginning, and your third paragraph sounded a little colloquial (e.g. 'it's just what that tile displays is not guaranteed to be the same'). Happy editing! --<span style="color:#AAAAFF">Wowy</span>(토크) 00:28, 3 April 2019 (UTC)

:::::Yeah. An actual table. Like it started as.
:::::Fundamentally, a wiki should be easily editable. You could say that editing an image isn't "that" hard, but just changing wiki code is still a lot simpler. Tiddlywinks (talk) 03:50, 3 April 2019 (UTC)
:::::: I agree and that's the reason I've never uploaded an image to bulbapedia until now but there are always exceptions to everything. I've shown this to several other people and they all say it's far easier to understand because it gives a level of representation you can't do with text and utf-8 characters. It was also one of the bigger motives behind me making the image. However if the community still feels the table is more preferred, I or somebody else can easily undo the changes but the people I've shown it to are much happier with the new image. I guess if it still needs to be talked about we can move this discussion to the discussion page on the page. But I additionally thank everyone for their help and input on this edit. == Masters, legendary event ==
I've got the impression that you might be the best person to ask, since you seem to be the admin who does the most work on Pokémon Masters articles. I was adding info on the current Ho-Oh event, and I was wondering two things: (1) Is it appropriate to document the Prize Box pools in the article, since it replaces purchases in the shop? (2) Apparently we aren't documenting First Time Rewards for most battles, but how hard and fast is this rule? The three battles they just added have more unique First Time Rewards than usual. Thanks!  --Neumannz (talk) 13:26, 8 May 2020 (UTC)
:Hi Neumannz. Firstly, thanks for your contributions, it's always great to see others on board! To answer your questions:
::(1) I think it would be too much effort with little gain if we were to document all of the Prize Box pools. The grand prizes and the Ho-Oh custom items should be documented, but I think for the rest, a general statement should suffice (as you already have in the first paragraph).
::(2) Yeah, to be honest I've been pretty inconsistent in documenting first-time rewards, but it's definitely on my agenda to get that sorted. Feel free to add another column for first-time rewards like in Training area, or have it in prose like in Man Story Co-op.--<span style="color:#AAAAFF">Wowy</span>(talk) 05:12, 9 May 2020 (UTC)
:::I went ahead with a new column. I included the typical 30 gems, but did not put in the "new area info" items. I don't know if you think it'd be worth including that too; IIRC the original five battles were unlocked from the start and only the battles that were just added had "new area info".  --Neumannz (talk) 20:34, 11 May 2020 (UTC)
Masters, water training event
The Water Training Event has the same battles it used to, but the rewards seem slightly different (mostly with more vouchers) and we didn't have any Shop listings in the article for the previous iterations. Is it okay to just add the new info to the existing section?  --Neumannz (talk) 23:05, 4 June 2020 (UTC)
:Hey Neumannz! I'm happy for you to add in this information - I don't think you need approval from me or other staff unless you are implementing major changes. However, I did just review the different Shop exchanges that have been available in these Training Events. DENA have been sticking to the same formula over these past several events, and have also shared patterns in previous iterations (for example, the first 4 training events shared the same exchanges, and then the next 3 events shared the same exchanges). I think it might be more useful to have a section at the bottom of the page called "Shop" which collates all this information together. So that this section doesn't get buried at the bottom, we can use the {{DL|| function to link each Training Event section to that "Shop" section. I'm not sure if you can make heads or tails of what I've just said (it's probably easier visualised than written in prose), but it if you did understand it, I'm more than happy for you to have a go!--<span style="color:#AAAAFF">Wowy</span>(talk) 11:52, 5 June 2020 (UTC)

Masters EX, regarding the sync grids
First, I thank you for telling me about abcboy's hard work. It would really save me a lot of work.
Now, to get to the point, I could not add Halloween Hilbert's sync grid options due to this very issue. I wonder how the sync grid tiles are listed in the sync grid explanation for a specific character. Do you list them according to required move levels? -- GroundNecton (talk) 08:00, 1 October 2020 (UTC)
(BTW Seems like you have a lot of interest in Korean stuff)
:I list all the stat grids first in order of HP -> Attack -> Def -> Sp. Atk -> Sp. Def -> Speed each in order of level (and cost). I then do the moves (power increase -> gauge refresh -> extra things for the moves), and then the rest of the grid tiles in order of level (I try to group similar skills obtainable at the same level and/or similar location on the grid), and then the sync move power increase tiles. You'll probably need to compare what I say to an example of a grid because it's a little hard to describe.
:And yes, I do have some interest in Korean stuff. I've been involved in making the opening and ending theme song pages and providing translations here and there. --<span style="color:#AAAAFF">Wowy</span>(talk) 10:25, 1 October 2020 (UTC)
::Thanks for the explanation and your devotion to Korean stuff. But I have a couple of questions to ask. Are there orders like northwest first, then northeast, and so on? :::Hey, sorry for the late reply. For the moves, I always do the Pokémon's moves first and then the Trainer moves. For the other skills, I do those available at level 1 -> 2 -> 3, and roughly in order of the least costly to most costly within each of those levels, but also like grouping skills in a similar location or similar effect together. I'm not aware if you can get the template to do version differences just for that one table, but I feel it's an important instance of version different clothing.Voltdetector (talk) 09:59, 20 January 2021 (UTC)
:Hey Voltdetector, thanks for your input. At the moment, I don't think it's worth making a template just for the uniforms. I think how the uniforms are presented currently is obvious enough for the reader. Unfortunately, I missed out on changing Motostoke's uniform shop to the new layout, which I have now changed. --<span style="color:#AAAAFF">Wowy</span>(talk) 22:03, 20 January 2021 (UTC)
Brand Logos in SwSh Fashion Template
Thought I'd continue this on your talk page to not clutter up the list of clothing talk page. I have the missing fashion brand logos uploaded to the archives now. So, it's in the clear to implement brand logos into the template. Voltdetector (talk) 04:55, 22 January 2021 (UTC)
:Yep, thanks for that. Not sure if you were planning to have a go at the template? I won't be able to get around to it until mid next week. --<span style="color:#AAAAFF">Wowy</span>(talk) 07:05, 22 January 2021 (UTC)

Anime Pokemon transcriptions
Hey, I'd like to ask you something. Every article about Pokemon from anime starts with line like: "Ash's Torkoal (Japanese: サトシのコータス Satoshi's Cotoise)". Shouldn't it say "Satoshi no Cotoise"? What's up with that broken mix of English and Japanese?--<span style="color:#CC0000">Rocket</span> <span style="color:#666666">Grunt</span> 13:39, 25 April 2021 (UTC)
:It's not a broken mix. It's two proper nouns with English grammar, regardless of the language in use. That's the style. Kai * the Arc Toraph 16:13, 25 April 2021 (UTC)

:::The italic text after the Japanese text is always the translation of the Japanese text, on every page on the wiki. In the case of proper nouns like character names and Pokémon names, the translation will use the romanized versions of the Japanese names. There's no mix of languages at all, that translation is exclusively in English. --<span style="color:#A70000">Snorlax</span><span style="color:#0000A7">Monster</span> 10:00, 26 April 2021 (UTC)

Rumble Rush Icons
Hello! I saw you were the user who uploaded the Rumble Rush type icons. I noticed the Fighting-type icon is 64x64 and seems to be stretched/artifacted while the other base images are 48x48. Is it like that right out of the apk? Or did that one get messed up somehow?
Cheers! -- Guiltysparkzz (talk) 05:54, 17 September 2021 (UTC)
Mainspace
Hello, it's been three months since I got my userspace privileges back. I humbly ask if there's a possibility to move this template into the main namespace. The Pokémon Colosseum series can trade Pokémon with Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, FireRed, and LeafGreen. They take place in the Orre region and are also the only RPG Pokémon games released after Crystal not to give the player the choice of playing as either a boy or a girl, the only side series Pokémon games with similar mechanics to the core series games, and the only RPG Pokémon games that players can catch other Trainers' Pokémon in. Also, in the Pokémon Colosseum series, players can upload Pokémon from their Game Boy Advance games to battle in 3D in VS Mode, featuring various classes for Trainers to beat. Maybe we can move it into the main namespace? == Thousand Arrows and Pokémon Masters EX ==
Hello.  I noticed that you added an image of one of Zygarde's signature moves from Pokémon Masters EX and identified it as a display of Thousand Arrows.  Yet, did you know that Serena (Masters) do not use Thousand Arrows?  They use Thousand Waves.  So, think that we should remove said image from the page of Thousand Arrows to prevent spreading misinformation.  Do you agree? Hey, it seems there are a decent number of Pokémon Masters EX images that we are still missing, such as vouchers and other exchange items. I don't know what source you use to get the images, but are you able to find those, too? --Neumannz (talk) 14:57, 2 September 2022 (UTC)
:Yeah, that's on my list of things to do but closer to the bottom of the list because they keep adding new vouchers and exchange items and we always need to play catch up. Do you have a Discord by any chance and on the Bulbagarden server? == Update Movegen ==
* Hey, I saw you were the last update to Template:Movegen, so I was asking you to update it to add Gen IX to the template (for moves that have alternate animations, like Terrain Pulse), also add DPPt and SwShBDSP. Thanks, PinkYoshiGaming (talk) 00:15, 4 January 2023 (UTC)
:I've updated the template for Gen IX for now. For SwShBDSP, I'd be happy for the moves to remain labelled as Gen VIII and the LA move to be labelled separately. For DPPt, how are these moves named on the Archives? (I presume they are named as File:Struggle IV.png rather than File:Struggle DPPt.png; or are some of them named differently?) <span style="color:#AAAAFF">Wowy</span>(talk) 06:15, 4 January 2023 (UTC)
indent Hey, could you update the Movegen template to remove the file sizes for Gen 6 and 7 images? Since a file size is specified for them, even those images that are animated are being called as thumbnails and thus only displaying the first frame. Additionally, all 3DS era images on the archives should be of the native resolution (400x240px) while the template is actually calling them to be 250px, so removing the file size would be better anyway. Thanks. → <span style="color:#000;">Pika</span><span style="color:#000;">Tepig</span><span style="color:#000;">999</span> 21:41, 21 September 2023 (UTC)
: I'm not sure if sizing them at their native resolution will be too large for the page, also not sure if editing the template to account for the very few instances of animations for 3DS images is worth it. I asked on Discord but didn't get much of a response. It might be better for you to ask admins who are more familiar with the core series games and templating than myself. Also, since this affects very few images, it might be possible to just use a non-template mimic of the table as a standalone for these images? --<span style="color:#AAAAFF">Wowy</span>(talk) 10:45, 24 September 2023 (UTC)
::The native resolution is smaller than what the template is using, so they'll actually be easier for the page to load. Anyway, I like your second idea better, I think currently only a few files are animated, so a non-template would be better to use until a consensus on updating the template. Thanks. → <span style="color:#000;">Pika</span><span style="color:#000;">Tepig</span><span style="color:#000;">999</span> 18:53, 24 September 2023 (UTC)
