:Its been known the first week of BW's release (note sprites of N. #000). Though on topic, this is National #000 whilst Victini is National #494. The BW ----- when captured will actually appear in the party unlike GenIV:000. There also appears to be a new exception handler which makes an encounter with any Pokémon with index number greater than 651 withdraw the pointer data for species (Bulbasaur,Ivysaur...Meloetta,Genesect and repeat) instead, so for now we have BW:000, BW:650 (Egg) and BW:651 (Manaphy Egg) to encounter. --Chickasaurus 16:52, 21 February 2011 (UTC)

::: I think that in the template at the bottom (containing glitch Pokémon), where it says ------ in the Gen v bit, it should link to ------#In_Generation_V (or whatever it should be) - <span style="font-family:Franklin Gothic Medium;background-color:teal;border:4px ridge green;">[[User Talk:AWild------Appeared|<span style="color:cyan;">A Wild (?) == Seven Stars Restaurant ==

Hey, is there any video or record on any forum of the Seven Stars Restaurant variation? Or, alternatively, would you like me to make one? OwnageMuch 07:19, 3 February 2012 (UTC)
:I don't think so. I just thought I might work, tried it out, and it did. If you want to make one, that would be great. --<span style="color:#A70000">Snorlax</span><span style="color:#0000A7">Monster</span> 08:02, 3 February 2012 (UTC)

----- in double battle screenshot
I have a screenshot of ----- appearing as both a partner and opponent Pokémon. Should I upload it here, or is it unnecessary for me to do so? :I think that is unnecessary. We don't have much room in the cheating section for another image anyway. --<span style="color:#A70000">Snorlax</span><span style="color:#0000A7">Monster</span> 12:57, 27 February 2012 (UTC)

stark mountain
In Pokemon Platinum, by using a cheat code to walk through walls, in the survival area, i skipped meeting buck and went straight ahead to stark mountain. When i got there, at the part where buck meets up with you, greeted me as usual, then we went out as doubles. The first pokémon that came were two -----'s. Both were lvl 0. The message came: the wild ddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddd appeared! Talha sent out Infernape! Buck sent out Claydol! upon this my game froze. Pokefan-t.k
:I believe this is because you use cheats to get there. For some reason, they did not have assigned Pokemon for battling (at that point), so they sent out Pokemon which I presume are supposed to be placeholder Pokemon. --NOBODY (talk) 01:56, 17 November 2013 (UTC)

Split the Page?
Putting DPBox and... ----- (we don't have a good name for the BW one yet) in the same article seems a bit strange to me. They're completely different Pokémon, they exist in two different games, and to put them in the same article just because they have the same name is not valid. We don't have one article for the G1 glitches named ゥ, so why do we do that here? If need be, we can make a disambiguation page linking to both of them. EthanLac
:DPBox and ----- are literally the same Pokémon, just viewed from different sides of the same battle. They do appear in the same games. --<span style="color:#A70000">Snorlax</span><span style="color:#0000A7">Monster</span> 02:43, 28 November 2017 (UTC)

Split (second thread)
Sorry that this was old, but I feel it's a valid point. I think Ethan was referring to the Generation IV glitch Pokémon and the Generation V glitch Pokémon. They effectively aren't the same due to not just a different sprite but also different behavior, even though they happen to share the same name. On the other hand, would it be like splitting Bad Egg across Generations? They will be behave differently yes but it may depend on how much information can be written unique to Generation V ----- (like how ????? is now split). :Edit: Ah I remember now DPBox and ----- was merged a long time ago which I agree with. That was probably what SnorlaxMonster was saying, but the Generation V one has remained for some reason. Though there isn't much information on the Generation V ----- on this page yet. Chickasaurus (talk) 09:12, 17 July 2021 (UTC)

Ability
The infobox says this glitchmon has the ability "-------". However, this glitch is from Gen IV-V, while the "-------" Ability is only noted to be in Gen III on Ability#Trivia. Doesn't really add up, does it? - WOLKsite (talk) 13:49, 1 August 2023 (UTC)
