As you have repeatedly tried to remove the hidden notes on Polteageist and change the wording from "may be" to "is", and also ingoring the hidden note's warning that whoever tries to do so will be blocked immediately, you have been blocked for a week. As I have stated before, we do not use definitive wording unless you have a source to back up your claim. We use "may be" or "appears to be" regardless of how obvious the origin is. It does not matter if people are making fun of us, let them. They don't know why we do things the way we do. People making fun of us because we want to be completely accurate with the origins sections and have legitimate sources for our claims should have no affects on how we do things.--<span style="color:#44BAE5">F</span><span style="color:#85D2EE">orce</span><span style="color:#DA7D99">F</span><span style="color:#E7ABBD">ire</span> 06:50, 24 May 2022 (UTC)

Welcome to Bulbapedia, AnnieCat07!

By creating your account you are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. Before you jump in, here are some ground rules:

 • Be nice to everyone. It's in the code of conduct.
 • Make good edits. Preview them before you save to make sure they're perfect the first time around.
 • Use wikicode and link templates when adding content to a page.
 • Use proper grammar and spelling, and read the manual of style.
 • You can't create a userpage until you've added to the encyclopedia. It's a privilege. See the userspace policy.
 • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes. Don't "edit war," or constantly re-edit/undo the same thing on a page.
 • If you have a question about something, be proactive. Take a look at our FAQ. If you're still stuck, ask for help. The staff won't bite.
 • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.
 • For more handy links, see the welcome portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

Speculation

Edits like this are considered speculation and not allowed here. The kinds of moves it might or might not be using in the game are not even notable at all and should not be mentioned either. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 18:02, 14 June 2018 (UTC)

Ok, I will not put speculation edits. But can you please remove a talk that I accidentaly left in Archaic's page?AnnieCat07 (talk) 18:04, 14 June 2018 (UTC)
You can remove it yourself. Just edit the page. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 18:08, 14 June 2018 (UTC)
I can't beacause whenever I do, it says this: This action has been automatically identified as harmful, and therefore disallowed. If you believe your action was constructive, please inform an administrator of what you were trying to do. A brief description of the abuse rule which your action matched is: Vandal filter 3AnnieCat07 (talk) 18:12, 14 June 2018 (UTC)
Then inform Archaic (talkcontribs) what you are trying to do. I don't think it's in my place to undo talk page messages for others. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 18:14, 14 June 2018 (UTC)
I fixed it btw. --Raltseye prata med mej 18:38, 14 June 2018 (UTC)

Linking Pokémon articles

When you're linking a Pokémon article, ALWAYS be sure to use the "p" template (p). Example: Greninja

GrammarFreak01 (talk) 04:17, 17 June 2018 (UTC)

Edit warring

Please do not add back information that was reverted, it can be seen as edit warring and is a blockable offense. If you disagree with an edit, discuss it with the user that reverted you. Jigglypuff's gender is not known, it has never been stated what gender it is.--ForceFire 16:50, 8 July 2018 (UTC)

Again. do not edit war, if you disagree with an edit, discuss it with the user that reverted you. And do not purposely ignore your warnings, take them seriously. If you continue to ignore this message, you will be blocked.--ForceFire 17:16, 8 July 2018 (UTC)

No, no, don't worry, I understand , it won't happen again. AnnieCat07 (talk) 10:13, 10 July 2018 (UTC)

Linking Pokémon articles again

Once again, whenever you're linking Pokémon articles, it's customary to use the p template to avoid leaving behind redirects. For example, Mimikyu is the proper usage, not Mimikyu. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 19:05, 15 June 2019 (UTC)

Origin wording

We don't use definite wording (such as X is based of...) unless there is official confirmation that it is based off of it, regardless of how obvious it is.--ForceFire 14:19, 21 September 2019 (UTC)

Indeedee

Please stop adding that Indeedee's name might be from "Deedee", the name has absolutely nothing to do with Indeedee, unlike the case of Hitmonlee or Hitmonchan, where both the English and Japanese names of those Pokemon actually have something to do with their namesake. A Youtuber saying that it might be from Deedee means absolutely nothing. And please refer to my note about edit warring above. If you disagree with an edit, don't keep re-adding the information, discuss it on the talk page. Thank you.--ForceFire 04:59, 30 January 2020 (UTC)

Origins

Again, we do not use definite wording in origins unless we have a source to back up our claim. Otherwise, we use "may be" or "appears to be", regardless of how glaringly obvious the origin is. Yes, we can tell that Polteageist is simply poltergeist+tea, but we can't say with 100% certainty if we don't have a source to back it up, unlike say Pikachu's name origin where we do have a source. Thank you.--ForceFire 18:13, 3 September 2020 (UTC)

New discussions

In the future, please place new discussions on the bottom of the page. This is most easily done with the + or Add topic button. --Bfdifan2006 (T/C) 16:25, 4 March 2022 (UTC)
