 ::So despite it being a normal type move, it isn't treated like one. Well in any case I just got done testing this with my Sylveon who incidentally has a Steel Type Hidden Power. +:::Everything in this article is super clear on the fact that Hidden Power is never treated as a Normal-type attack except to choose which little type icon to display to the player. It shouldn't be necessary to specify Hidden Power as an exception on the Pixilate page as you did, because it's ''not'' an exception; it's just another of the many attacks that aren't Normal and thus don't get affected by any of the three Abilities that change Normal-type moves to other types. The article just states that all normal type moves become fairy, and doesn't go beyond that like other articles do on exceptions.
