During the battle, Brycen revealed that he and [[Drayden]] had discussed about giving Black the [[Light Stone]] to combat [[Team Plasma]] after they had successfully awakened {{p|Zekrom}}. Black accepted the role, and, after emerging victorious against Brycen, received the Light Stone and his seventh [[Badge]].
