(Japanese: ポケットモンスターXY Pocket Monsters XY) is a shōnen Pokémon manga created by 穴久保幸作 Kosaku Anakubo. It is follow-up to the Pocket Monsters BW series, following the legacy of sequels to the original Pokémon Pocket Monsters series. The plot follows the adventures of Red and his Pokémon as they travel to the Kalos region. It is chiefly a gag manga using crude humor and slapstick. It was succeeded by Pocket Monsters Sun Moon.
