Ash, Misty and Brock come across a bridge during their travels. They want to walk on it but the officer says only the bike track is ready, not the actual road. Devastated, the group then attempts to get a bike but is unsuccessful. When they go to the Pokémon Center to think of a plan to get a bike, they find a worried Nurse Joy. She says she has to deliver medicine for injured Pokémon over the bridge but she cannot leave the center because she has Pokémon to attend to. Ash and Misty agree enthusiastically.
