Boomburst (Japanese: ばくおんぱ Sound Wave Explosion) is a damage-dealing Normal-type move introduced in Generation VI.
Effect
Boomburst does damage to all adjacent Pokémon, including allies. Pokémon with the Ability Soundproof are not affected by this move.

- Boomburst has the highest base power of all moves with no negative effects on the user.
- Boomburst was the first Generation VI move seen in the anime. It was used by Alexa's Noivern in Celebrating the Hero's Comet!, prior to the release of Pokémon X and Y.
