Unaffected by item negating effects (such as {{m|Embargo}} and {{a|Klutz}}). Item manipulating effects (such as {{m|Trick}} and {{m|Fling}}) cannot give Tyranitar a Tyranitarite or remove a Tyranitarite from Tyranitar.

Effect

In battle

If held by an Tyranitar, allows it to Mega Evolve into Mega Tyranitar if its Trainer has a Key Stone. Each Trainer can only Mega Evolve one Pokémon per battle.
