Ash's friends: Difference between revisions

In the {{series|Sun & Moon}}, Ash's friends are not traveling companions but classmates, as Ash attends the [[Pokémon School]] instead of traveling around the [[Alola]] region.

Misty joined Ash in ''[[EP002|Pokémon Emergency!]]'', traveling with him because she wanted him to replace her [[Bicycle|bike]], which was destroyed by his {{AP|Pikachu}}. She would continuously travel with him until ''[[EP273|Gotta Catch Ya Later!]]'', when she returned to [[Cerulean City]] nearly full-time to lead [[Cerulean Gym|her family's Gym]], though she briefly traveled to [[Hoenn]] and met up with Ash's {{series2|Advanced Generation}} group in ''[[AG044|The Princess and the Togepi]]'' and ''[[AG045|A Togepi Mirage!]]'', and again from ''[[AG132|The Scheme Team]]'' until ''[[AG134|A Real Cleffa-Hanger]]'' to "escort" her back home. She met up with her friends [[The Mastermind of Mirage Pokémon|one more time]].

After his father {{ka|Flint}} offered to take over the duties of [[Gym Leader]], Brock followed Ash through [[Kanto]], leaving briefly from ''[[EP083|Poké Ball Peril]]'' to ''[[EP115|A Tent Situation]]'' to work for [[Professor Ivy]]. In ''[[EP116|The Rivalry Revival]]'', Brock returned to be with Ash and {{an|Misty}} until ''[[EP273|Gotta Catch Ya Later!]]'', though he, unlike Misty, would return shortly, in ''[[AG004|You Can Never Taillow]]'', sticking with Ash until ''[[AG192|Home is Where the Start is!]]''. He would again return in ''[[DP002|Two Degrees of Separation!]]'', and so traveled through [[Sinnoh]] with Ash until ''[[DP191|Memories are Made of Bliss!]]''.

Mallow is one of Ash's classmates. She is talented cook for both people and Pokémon, and is a self-proclaimed poster girl at her family's restaurant. She met Ash while she was having a {{p|Tauros}} race against {{an|Lana}} and {{an|Sophocles}} and they ran him over when he accidentally stumbled upon the track. They became classmates when Ash enrolled himself at the Pokémon School shortly thereafter.
