Could someone please help me! What does it mean when it says "and the red fins it had as Ralts/Kirlia are now gone." Does it mean the red things? On there head? But, Gardevoir still has them! I'm confused.Gardevoir

:I assume it means those on the head... Sure, Gardevoir's and Gallade's are on their chests now... but Ralts and Kirlia have them on their heads, which is the point. --<span style="color:#FF0000;">T</span><span style="color:#FF0000;">T</span><span style="color:#FF0000;">E</span><span style="color:#0000FF;">chidna</span> 23:16, 24 May 2007 (UTC)

:Not... really. Sure, it's kind of a Hoenn counterpart, but Alakazam's there anyway. Should Gardevoir have 2 Type effectiveness charts: One for Gen VI and one prior to Gen VI? Dark Rust
:Nope. Our current one is fine. It has parameters to mark the changes that were made. == Mega Gardevoir = Fairy Princess? ==
Could Mga Gardevoir's design be based on the idea of a fairy princess? It's a Faory type and is wearing what looks like a princess gown Vienna Waltz (talk) 15:48, 16 November 2013 (UTC)

Gardevoir itself looks more like a bishonen (guy with feminine features, common in anime, manga etc.) of the magical knight variety  than a fairy princess, so no. --<b><span style="color:#EBEBEB;">The</span> <span style="color:#F08030;">Truth</span></b> aka Relicant 15:59, 16 November 2013 (UTC)

Mega Evolution/Branch Evolution Trivia
I would think that it is worth noting in the Trivia section that Gardevoir is the only Pokémon capable of Mega Evolving that is also part of a branched evolution tree. MutantGerbil00

Anime Debut
It says that Gardevoir made its debut anime appearance in AG109, but wouldn't its appearance in Destiny Deoxys count as an anime appearance? And that's not a rhetorical question; I actually want to know. Mangaman13 (talk) 21:57, 5 December 2013 (UTC)

Lower body
The biology section's comment on Gardevoir's lower body seems to imply that it doesn't have legs. However, Pokédex 3D Pro shows that this is obviously not the case. Mangaman13 (talk) 22:06, 5 December 2013 (UTC)

Added origin content
The page says that Gardevoir seems to be based off of a ballroom dancer. I would like to argue that Gardevoir, like Kirlia, is based off of a principle ballet dancer. If you look at Gardevoir's legs in 3D models, you can see that they ended in a tapered point. This suggested that Gardevoir--again like Kirlia--is raised 'en pointe' in their stance. Gardevoir's 'dress' is very similar to the dresses that the older and more traditional ballet dancers wore back in the 1800's. This style of dress is still seen today in The Nutcracker, Swan Lake, and many lyrical dances. Gardevoir's shoulders are also noticeably lowered; a technical aspect that is drilled into all ballet dancers very early on. :*Wait, wasn't Gardevoir also supposed to have been based off of a magical knight in a way? ----<span style="color:blue">NateVirus</span><small>(<span style="color:green">Talk</span>|<span style="color:red">Contributions</span></small>) 22:30, 15 March 2014 (UTC)
::seeing as Gardevoir's japanese name is Sirknight, addin in that its possibly based on a knight mage/magical knoght makes sense. --<b><span style="color:#EBEBEB;">The</span> <span style="color:#F08030;">Truth</span></b> aka Relicant 23:25, 15 March 2014 (UTC)

Edit request
Can I point out that at level 17 the move learnt is 'lucky chant', not 'wish' as stated. Cidare
:Although Ralts and Kirlia learn the move at that level, this is the page for Gardevoir, where (if it was possible), at level 17 Gardevoir would learn Wish. --Abcboy (talk) 04:14, 20 May 2014 (UTC)

the main picture?
Okay,I don't know what that picture is normally called, but in that picture, gardevoir's fin/horn thingy and eyes are black, instead of red.. Shouldn't it be replaced with more correct one? Fiky f (talk) 22:16, 24 May 2014 (UTC)

::I don't know,it's just that it has always been depicted with the color red,and the top picture has its eye and fin colored black/grey... Right? I actually asked people to see what color it is to make sure I'm not colorblind.. I'm sorry if I'm being troublesome.Fiky f (talk) 06:12, 25 May 2014 (UTC)
:::It's red on my display. Perhaps there is an issue with your monitor? I assure you the picture on the page is the official art and Gardevoir's fins and eyes are quite red.  <span style="color:#9F00C5">Crystal</span> <span style="color:#FF00FF">Talian</span> 06:39, 25 May 2014 (UTC)

Japanese romanization
I observed that the romanization of the japanese name has been changed following the Pokken Tournament news, and since there were two versions of the romanized name (Sirnight and Surnight) in two different pictures of the same article, I decided to add both of them. However, my edit was undid because Surnight "isn't official". How can it be determined which one is the "official" one? --Caciulacdlac (talk) 23:00, 1 February 2015 (UTC)
:Could you show me the pictures (or links)? --Yen01 (talk) 14:14, 4 February 2015 (UTC)
::Caciulacdlac was referring to a Bulbanews image. I believe it was some sort of error, though: see the current Pokken site/image, and "in the wild". I can't trace the Bulbanews image to an official site (perhaps it was updated precisely because of that error). == Hoenn Dex Number in Gen 3 vs. Hoenn Dex Number in OR/AS. ==

I added some Trivia that explains that Gardevoir is the last Pokémon in the Hoenn PokéDex to have the same number in both versions of that Regional Dex, but it got removed for being "too complicated".
How do I say it without making it sound as so? SquirtleLover1999 (talk) 06:39, 21 October 2017 (UTC)SquirtleLover1999
:Probably best to stop worrying about it. Trying to continually reword trivia to shoehorn it into an acceptable state is usually a waste of time; if it's not notable with one phrasing, it's probably not gonna be notable with any other phrasing, either. Pumpkinking0192 (talk) 16:24, 21 October 2017 (UTC)
::Okay, but I forgot to mention that I added that whole thing because Yanma has Trivia of a similar topic on it, so I decided to do the same with Gardevoir. SquirtleLover1999 (talk) 06:39, 21 October 2017 (UTC)SquirtleLover1999
