Nincada

I dont think Nincada -> Shedinja should be here...--Sanky 19:53, 11 November 2007 (UTC)

Why not? It's a branched evolution. 281Tina380 20:51, 11 November 2007 (UTC)
The TCG considers it so, and while it's not really technically a branched evolution, it's nowhere near a regular one either. It's something like halfway. TTEchidna 10:17, 12 November 2007 (UTC)

Well, OK.--Sanky 14:13, 13 November 2007 (UTC)

Yeah. It's one of those weird things, but you can't really say that it's an unrelated yet similar Pokémon (as is the case with Plusle and Minun), despite the fact that it doesn't directly result from the induction of evolution in Nincada, like both Gardevoir and Gallade are for Kirlia. If there were more Pokémon like it, we'd have some other precedent, but it's likely there'll be no more like this (well, there haven't been yet)... so we go with the TCG's classification of it as a brancher. Just to clear it up, a branched evo is when you have to choose which evo to get, and with nincada, you get both, so it is not a branch and therefore should not be put on the page.Leafgreener in 2010 01:26, 28 June 2011 (UTC)

Nincada can evolve into more that one Pokemon, which can be considered a branched evolution, even though it is not the same as the others. XVuvuzela2010X 01:35, 28 June 2011 (UTC)
