:I'm sorry to tell you this, but right now you can't add new info to that template. There's a draft for a new one over here, but I don't know when it will be moved to the mainspace, maybe when we get remakes of Pokémon Diamond and Pearl so the shitload of moves in need of Contest data will be even bigger and the chart even messier. ::Hello, I had just made an account to help complete the Contest condition move tables. Looking at this discussion makes this seem unlikely to happen, but I figured I would ask to see if there has been any progress since the original post? And if not, is there anyway that I can get a hold of that linked template and attempt to work on overhauling the whole section? Thank you in advance for the help. ::As far as the note that appeared around Gen IV, it's far from perfect in a couple ways. For one, the wording "obtained" doesn't entirely sound like it would apply to a Pokemon that evolved (like by trade or evo stone). And then, that note is just so very easy to miss or else forget. And at the same time: there's still just no need—at all—to use "Start" if "1" is true (in the process of leveling up/evolving at least). If "1" is true, "Start" is not in any way better than "1". Tiddlywinks (talk) 04:21, 16 December 2015 (UTC)

CAPTCHA won't display
I'm a new user and I was able to sign up only because of the mobile view option since the desktop view wouldn't display the CAPTCHA. Now that I'm signed up, I can't edit pages with links because doing so requires a CAPTCHA and it still doesn't display. I'm using Chrome. AmoralCreed (talk) 04:38, 26 January 2016 (UTC)
: I'm also a new user, and I had a similar problem. Then Captcha showed up at the bottom of the "sign in" page and wouldn't accept my entries until (3-4 tries later), it finally displayed in the correct spot. (Also using Chrome, because it tends to run Bulbapedia with fewer hiccups than my IE 11.) Cybertronian (talk) 04:29, 18 February 2016 (UTC)
:: I had the same problem while signing up, so this is still an issue. However, in my case it might have been due to my NoScript plugin. Sandrew26 (talk) 14:24, 27 May 2016 (UTC)
:: After trying to add external links to a page, the captcha requirement appeared again. Once again, it first appeared at the very bottom of the page, and entering the correct numbers had no effect. The page refreshed and again asked for a captcha, but this time the box was in what I assume was the correct location near the top of the page, and this time entering the numbers worked. I don't have any scripts blocked (noscript shows only bulbagarden.net), and ghostery isn't blocking it, either. I'd upload a picture to show you, but bulbapedia won't let me? == What is the process for updating Game Sprite PNGs/images? ==

I've been using Bulbapedia to help me out as I play with the 3rd Generation Pokémon games (in my case: Sapphire, LeafGreen, FireRed, and Emerald). Recently, I decided to save some of the game sprites and I noticed that the R/S sprites for Jynx weren't consistent with one another. (R/S Normal Jynx had miscolored sprites and noticeable blank spots, mostly in the hands, compared the R/S Shiny Jynx.) Using Paint Shop Pro 9.01, I touched up the sprite, and kept the new image limited to the 15 (plus 1 transparent) colors used on the original image. This way, if someone were to manually change the palette colors to those of Shiny Jynx (after saving the PNG to their own computer, of course), they would now look indistinguishable. I then joined Bulbapedia so that I could submit my update for review.
That being said, what is the process for submitting a new image to be reviewed for possible replacement of an earlier submitted image? Cybertronian (talk) 04:45, 18 February 2016 (UTC).

Gen1 sprite order on species pages
Is there any particular reason that the Gen1 species pages show the JBlue/Red/Blue sprites first, then Yellow, then Red/Green? Sprites from all other generations are listed by release order, with the "Red" of each pair when they don't use the same sprites. To keep things consistent, (and to easier display how they were changed over time), shouldn't they be ordered as Red/Green, JBlue/Red/Blue, Yellow? --FortMax (talk) 01:19, 29 February 2016 (UTC)
:We're an English wiki. English content is our primary concern. That said, Japanese content may be significant as well, which would be why we do include the different R/G sprites; but it's firmly a secondary concern compared to the releases that most English-speakers will actually know.
:And it's not really relevant that everything else is listed in release order, when everything else didn't have the same divergence between what was released in Japanese and what was released in English. That inherently breaks down any such comparison. Tiddlywinks (talk) 01:35, 29 February 2016 (UTC)
:As Tiddlywinks said, English content has priority. I don't think it'd hurt if the order were changed to place RG first though. Also, if I may, Red and Blue, from an official standpoint, are nothing more than the Western releases of the Japanese Red, Green, and Blue (Blue provides the engine, Red and Green the version-exclusive content). We really don't need the game articles split into RGB and RB as this distinction is more of a habit than anything else, not to mention that the relevant changes can be explained in detail on their respective articles (e.g.: in-game trade). But this is just my 2¢ and that's a topic for another date, I guess. SatoMew2 (talk) 01:58, 29 February 2016 (UTC)

Move breeding table width
Is it possible to increase the width of the tables in the "by breeding" section on moves? Everything's so squished that it looks silly and it's very difficult to navigate. Look at Leech Seed for an example -- the minisprites should be on more than one or two columns per generation. --Pyritie (talk) 11:02, 17 June 2016 (UTC)

I somehow signed the bottom of this section http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Talk:Tapu_Koko_(Pok%C3%A9mon)#Name_origin and I can't remove the extra signature because of a "vandal filter 3" error... On a side note, how are people supposed to make edits to something they said on the talk pages if they have to sign their edits literally every time? I swear why do all the wikis I visit always have questionable policies? Mattwo (talk) 23:06, 3 July 2016 (UTC)
