'''Tiny Woods''' (Japanese: '''ちいさな　もり''' ''Tiny Woods'') is the first [[Mystery Dungeon|dungeon]] in {{g|Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team and Blue Rescue Team}}. Its placement as the first dungeon in the game mimics the pattern of early forested areas in the [[core series]]. The dungeon is only three floors deep, and [[wild Pokémon]] cannot be recruited here. There is no chance of finding a [[monster house]], a shop, or a buried item.

The player starts the game outside of Tiny Woods. The player's chosen pokemon partner would wake  the player out of unconsciousness where they soon will become friends, and also where the two receive their first rescue job. They are asked by {{DL|List of Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team and Blue Rescue Team characters|Butterfree}} to rescue her baby {{mdc|Caterpie|1}}, who has fallen into a fissure in the dungeon and cannot get out. After completing this job, the player and their partner receive an {{DL|Berry|In the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon series|Oran Berry}}, Pecha Berry, and a Rawst Berry.
