Era 2010-2012

ReshiPhlosion was a popular deck archetype in the Pokémon TCG during the later part of the '10-'11 and the beginning of the '11-'12 Organized Play seasons. Following the format rotation to HGSS-on, ReshiPhlosion was a very consistent powerful deck that often placed very commonly in many Pokémon TCG tournaments.

History

TyRam took both 3rd and 4th place in the Masters division of the 2011 World Championships. A variant called Reshiphlosion was used by Christopher Kan to win the 2011 World Championships Senior Division; his deck was then printed as a World Championship deck.

Strategy

The deck's strategy focuses on consistently attacking with Reshiram's Blue Flare to do 120 damage every turn, starting turn 2 or 3. Typhlosion's Poké-Power, Afterburner, and the standard energy attach each turn would allow the player to accomplish this.

Typical Deck List

The deck list appearing below is not official; it is meant to represent an average build of the archetype, not specifically constructed for any regional metagame. Being that this is merely an archetype, a player may wish to change any part of this deck when building his or her own version.
