[[Volkner]] used a Jolteon in ''[[DP179|The Eighth Wonder of the Sinnoh World!]]'' in Ash's Gym battle, it battled and lost to {{AP|Infernape}}. It is the first Eeveelution to be used by a [[Gym Leader]] in the anime. He also uses it in {{v2|Platinum}}, at Level 46, at level 56 in the [[Multi Battle]] with {{EF|Flint}} and at Level 61 in the [[Battleground]].
