Corocoro says the method for Kurumayu's evolution into Hahakomori is なつきどが高い状態でレベルアップ Level up in high condition during the summer season, so should we change the article to "Happiness during Summer"?KurowaSan 02:45, 14 October 2010 (UTC)

:My Kurumayu evolved into Hahakomori during the spring, so I don't think so. :/ <span style="font-family: Verdana;">~ <span style="color:#0080ff;">sol</span><span style="color:#4090ff;">ar</span><span style="color:#a8d3ff;">is</span></span> 02:51, 14 October 2010 (UTC)

::That says 'Level up when happiness is high' anyway. Someone probably confused なつSummer and なつきHappiness. Bluesun 20:41, 18 October 2010 (UTC)
Art
okay, can I have a reason why some of the pokemon, such as Hahakomori, Kurumayu and Darumakka have Dream World art instead of their recent CoroCoro ones? --Makupe 19:55, 18 October 2010 (UTC)
: because they haven't been added to the archives...and the dream world art is much better than the corocoro art (due to the words blocking some parts) Ataro 20:00, 18 October 2010 (UTC)
Origin
Hello, I made an account on this website specifically for this. I believe that this Pokémon exhibits several traits of the embioptera, an order of insects that not only has the ability to create thread, but also exhibit parental care. The order shares various morphological similarities with Leavanny, such as the shape of the legs, the head, and the form of the body. I do not dispute that it's primary inspiration is leaf mimicking phasmids, and to a lesser extent mantids. However, mantids and phasmids do not create thread to protect their young, a trait that is intrinsic to Leavanny's nature. More information on embioptera; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Embioptera --Saturnidae (talk) 05:12, 19 January 2014 (UTC)
Ah, I discovered yet another link to the embioptera. From Leavany's White Pokédex entry; "It keeps its eggs warm with heat from fermenting leaves." and here from the wikipedia article on embiopterans; "In some species this parental care even involves the female feeding the nymphs with portions of chewed-up leaf litter and other food sources." While Leavanny uses rotten leaves as a heat source, and the embioptera use them as food, I feel that the resemblance is uncanny. --Saturnidae (talk) 05:19, 19 January 2014 (UTC)
