It was becoming the sole focus of Bulbapedia's users back in March of 2008. No one was editing mainspace pages. We don't want that to happen again, so we do enforce it quite strictly. Deleted contributions usually don't count, but at the same time, you're kind of a repeat offender, and so our patience wears thin.
