Technically what you were doing was trolling: posting (to quote Wikipedia's definition) "controversial, inflammatory, irrelevant or off-topic messages....with the primary intent of provoking other users into an emotional response". The Bulbapedia name isn't well-liked over the hedge as it may be, and you can count yourself lucky you only got a month. Their wiki is, quite frankly, full of a lot of garbage, and their administrators don't need to waste their time with stuff like this. I'm sure they'd be glad if you could help them expand once your block has been lifted. Until then, leave off the war-enticing talks on either wiki.
